I Need That Healthy Skin Appearance

This is something that I really need to work on is having healthy skin. At times I would just wash my face with a washcloth that has soap on it. It doesn't dry out my skin, but it doesn't really help much in really getting into the pores and getting deeply clean.

I did come across some skin care products that I might want to give a try called Dermalogica. What I've read is that it is natural and doesn't use harsh chemicals like other face washes and such. That is one reason I don't use the OTC face washes, cleansers and other stuff because of some times my skin may feel dry and start to peel a little. It doesn't help with the oiliness even though I'm thinking I'm purchasing the certain product to reduce it some.

I know I need to get on a type of regimen also, which would probably help out my skin even more. I just have to take the initiative to get started on it and find what works for me

It's Been A While....

So it's been a while since I last posted about my locs and so far now, it has become a love/hate relationship with them. LOL.

About a month back or so, I have had thoughts of taking down my locs. Not cutting them out, but just picking them out so that I still have some length of hair. I think I'm getting bored with them now because I can't really do much with them other than put them up in a messy like ponytail or let them hang, which gets aggravating at times when they keep getting into my face. I'm still on the fence about it because I know it may be much harder for me at the beginning and more time consuming to have loose hair to take care of, unless I keep it really short as when I had it before starting my loc journey.

I don't know. I still have until December to decided because that is my time frame, so I'll see then on what I want to do then.

2 Years Into the Loc World

So I've made it to two years and I've included pictures of how far my locs have came along.

Group delivers natural hair Barbies to African-American girls

COLUMBUS, Ga - Some African-American girls in Columbus got a unique lesson in self esteem this past Friday afternoon.
The Little Ladies Girls Inc. received "natural hair barbie dolls" from a local group of women.
It seemed like a normal day in the Girls, Inc. classroom; however, the girls were in for a big surprise.
Lots of love, learning, and of course laughter followed...
